Angelica Panganiban is a Filipino-American model, host of a TV show and comedian. Panganiban has been referred to as the queen of Drama across various media. Angelica Hale fell ill at age four, suffering from strep throat and pneumonia due to an infection caused by a bacteria. Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston had to place Angelica Hale on ECMO Life-Support when she urgently required life-saving medical interventions. Her condition became severe and she suffering organ failure, including kidneys that did not recover. Her condition forced her to alter her life around hemodialysis, and later on dialysate for the peritoneal area. After spending 80 consecutive days in the hospital from near-death to long road towards recovery, she returned home, but her life forever changed. Angelica was, following a full year of dialysis and a half-year of dialysis, was now set to undergo the biggest surgery of all - the replacement of her kidney. The kidney she would receive from only her mom. Angelica Hale and her mother went through the transplant of a kidney on the premises of Emory University Hospital in Atlanta and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston on September 13 2013. Angelica Hale pursued her dream to become a famous person ever since.
